The Undertaker Removed From WWE SmackDown Intro
Last evening’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown removed The Undertaker from its intro, which has this week been tweaked for airing. The intro now closes with ‘The Viper’ Hot Orton performing his signature RKO move as opposed to the iconic shot of ‘The Deadman’.
No reckon has officially yet been given for the change but it is interesting that The Undertaker’s profile, at least for now, remains on the SmackDown Superstars folio on WWE.com.
One theory given for the Orton/Undertaker switch is that it would indicate that The Undertaker won’t be appearing on the seniority (if not all until last) SmackDown episodes in the run up to his rematch with Triple H at WWE WrestleMania 28, event April 1st, 2012. Though then if that was the case you would think The Undertaker would have been removed from the SmackDown roster call out on the website.
