Baldwinsville boy, 12, gets his first turkey during Saturday hunt
Both men accompanied the boy on the ransack in Mendon (just outside of Rochester). The boy shot the bird with a Remington 1100, 20-gauge shotgun. The turkey's beard predetermined 9 3/4 inches and had one-inch spurs. It weighed 21 pounds. turkey3 . JPG.
