Trouble charged with hit-and-run
A Eugene woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with a hit-and-run conveyance crash that occurred Nov. 22 on Interstate 5 north of Albany.
Lisa L. Abbe, 42, is being held in Lane County Clink on warrants charging her with fourth-degree assault, hit-and-run driving and recklessly endangering another mortal physically.
The charges stem from a crash in Marion County that authorities guess Abbe caused when her vehicle slammed into the rear of a pickup. Abbe allegedly drove away from the locale after the collision, police said.
The pickup’s driver suffered inconsequential injuries in the crash, police said.
Abbe is also being held in quod on a charge that she violated parole by failing to appear in court.
