Developed by EA Canada, the primitive Grand Slam Tennis was a Wii only title released back in the Summer of 2009. It was initially planned for release on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 however this never materialised until now with the come out with of Grand Slam Tennis 2 – which is skipping the Wii altogether.
Being an EA Sports documentation of ownership there’s a few things gamers have come to expect, EA servers, online passes, legitimate licenses and a slick UI. All of these are back and remain largely unchanged from other recent EA Sports titles. The menu system will climate instantly familiar which is good in a lot of ways but when you’ve played half a dozen games that look like they’ve been churned through the EA Sports UI Machine it can become a negligible uninspiring.
