DORCHESTER Just about every other exalted school tennis team in the state was sidelined on a recent rainy afternoon earlier this month. But fundamentally the cozy confines of the Sportsmens Tennis Club in Dorchester, Latin Academy defeated its adversary, the John D. OBryant School.
I was actually hoping we were going to get rained out today because I was prospering to go home and sleep, said OBryant No. 1 singles performer, junior Tony Huang, after Sportsmens shuffled its schedule to put the arm on the match into its indoor facility on May 1.
But I think I appreciate that we have an indoor facility because were not going to be scrambling to get all our matches in at the end of the year.
